Build A Search
Team That
Ships.
Your people are capable. They're stuck because nobody senior has ever told them which of the forty things on the audit actually matters. That's the gap this closes.
Campaigns Coached Across
The Problem With Most SEO Teams
It's rarely knowledge. Most in-house teams know what a canonical tag does and can read a Core Web Vitals report. What they can't do is rank forty findings by business impact and defend the top three to a CFO.
So the work becomes a treadmill of low-impact tasks that are easy to justify and easy to complete — alt text, meta descriptions, a blog post a week — while the three structural problems that actually cap the site's ceiling go untouched for years because nobody has the authority or the confidence to escalate them.
Coaching fixes the judgment, not the knowledge. And judgment is the part a course cannot teach, because it only exists in contact with your specific site, your specific constraints, and your specific internal politics.
What Sessions Cover
Priority Definition
We start with your highest-leverage opportunities, not a generic checklist. Every audit produces a hundred findings; roughly four of them matter. Learning to tell which is the entire skill.
Live Campaign Review
Real-time analysis of your active work. Problems identified, fixes prescribed, sequence agreed. No vague “consider improving” feedback.
Tooling On Your Own Data
Hands-on work in Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush — using your account, your crawl, your mess. Demo data teaches nothing because demo data has no ambiguity in it.
The AI Search Layer
How the same content decisions play out in AI answers, why your best-ranking page may never get cited, and what to actually measure. Covered properly on the GEO coaching track.
Reporting That Survives Review
Broken tracking and unclear attribution rebuilt, so performance is communicated in revenue terms rather than ranking tables. This is what unlocks budget.
Saying No
Half of senior SEO is declining work. The request to “optimise” a page nobody searches for, the migration with no redirect plan, the content calendar built from a keyword tool's autocomplete.
Skills Your Team Develops
Search Intent Mapping
Match content to the exact intent behind each query, so every page serves a real user need and a real ranking opportunity. This is also the single biggest determinant of whether a page ever gets quoted in an AI answer.
Scalable Keyword Architecture
Keyword structures that grow with the site rather than keyword lists that expire after one campaign cycle. Hub-and-spoke topical coverage that compounds instead of fragmenting.
Technical Auditing With Judgment
Find crawl issues, indexation problems and Core Web Vitals failures — then correctly ignore most of them. Includes reading a crawl critically: I've seen a crawler report thirty-eight dead pages that were all live and healthy.
Diagnosing Traffic Loss
Separating a ranking drop from a click-through collapse from a seasonal dip. These look identical on a dashboard and have completely different fixes, and getting it wrong costs a quarter.
Stakeholder Reporting
Communicate performance in business terms. Stop defending rankings, start showing revenue impact, and build the internal credibility that unlocks more budget.
Fit
Good fit
- checkAn in-house team that knows the mechanics but keeps working on the wrong things.
- checkAn agency where delivery quality varies by whoever picked up the account.
- checkA marketing lead who needs to defend the search budget in business terms.
- checkA team that has never had a senior reviewer look at their actual work.
Poor fit
- closeLooking for a certificate or a recorded curriculum — this is live and unstructured by design.
- closeWanting someone to do the work rather than teach it. That's the done-for-you track instead.
- closeNo access to Search Console or the site. Coaching without your data is just a webinar.
- closeExpecting tactics that beat a fundamentally thin site. Content depth is a prerequisite, not an output.
How Sessions Are Structured
Diagnostic Session
First session · 90 minutes
Review of the site, the Search Console account, and whatever the team is currently working on. Output is a ranked list of what actually matters, which is usually shorter and more uncomfortable than expected.
Working Sessions
Fortnightly or monthly
Live campaign review with the people executing. Screen-shared, using your account. Problems identified, fixes prescribed, sequence agreed.
Team Workshops
Half day · on request
Whole-team sessions on a single capability — technical auditing, keyword architecture, or reporting. Useful when several people need the same upgrade at once.
Pricing is set per engagement after a scoping call — scope, account count and cadence move it too much for a single published number to be honest. You will have a fixed figure before any work starts, and there are no open-ended hourly arrangements.
Common Questions
Is this a course?
No. There's no fixed curriculum and no recordings. Sessions are led by whatever is actually broken in your campaigns this week. If your team already knows something, we skip it.
Who should be in the room?
Whoever executes. Coaching a marketing director who then relays it secondhand wastes half the value. The person running the crawl should be the person in the session.
Does this cover AI search too?
Yes, and it has to. The pages that earn citations in AI answers are largely the pages that were built well for search in the first place — but the measurement is completely different, and a team that only watches rankings will miss a visibility collapse entirely.
How long before we don't need you?
That's the goal and it's usually two to four months for a competent team. If an engagement runs longer than that without the team getting more independent, something is wrong with how it's structured.
Stop guessing.
Start executing.
Book a session and your team walks away with a ranked, defensible plan — not a longer to-do list.
